Hoya australis loves bright indirect light. Some morning sunlight is okay but avoid exposing it to harsh afternoon sun as it will turn the leaves pale green. Hoyas are very prone to root rot, so let the soil dry out almost completely between watering. Hoya australis can survive the average home's humidity, but like most Hoyas, it will thrive in a humid environment. Water this plant less frequently during the winter months.
