The Philodendron genus has the most beautiful species in the Araceae family (yes, we are a bit biased). One of these plants is the Philodendron Prince of Orange. It has stunning bright leaves that change colors throughout its growing cycle. The leaves emerge a vivid orange and mature to green. This is a self-heading Philodendron, which means it has an upright growth habit with a thick stem. Their leaves grow very close, hiding the main stem (unlike trailing Philodendron plants).
The Philodendron Prince of Orange grows well in bright filtered light and well-draining soil. This plant can handle bright direct sunlight, but the early morning sun is the most suitable. Let the soil dry out almost completely between watering. This plant is tolerant of the average home's humidity.
