The Ficus altissima, AKA the Council Tree, has beautiful variegated light green and yellow leaves. Don't be afraid to introduce a Ficus tree to your plant collection, as it will not grow into a massive tree-like it would in its natural tropical habitat.
Plant Care
Ficus altissima needs bright indirect light. Some morning sunlight is okay but limit it to a few hours. Avoid exposing it to harsh afternoon sun as it will burn the leaves. Use well-draining soil and let it dry out almost completely between watering. Don't let the soil dry out too much, or its leaves will start to drop (the same if overwatered).
