String of Turtles is a very delicate but beautiful trailing plant with foliage that resembles turtle shells. This is a great plant for beginners as it can thrive on neglect (at times)! When the plant matures, the leaves turn darker green.
Plant Care
String of Turtles loves bright indirect light but can tolerate morning sun. Although it does not like soggy soil, you shouldn’t wait until the soil dries out entirely to water this succulent species of Peperomia. Keep the soil a bit moist during warmer months. Like other trailing succulents, the top of the plant should receive plenty of bright light to grow fuller. Water this plant less frequently during the winter months.
